XLR8R has given some attention to the next vinyl release on my label Lomechanik! Check out their article on our release with an offering of a bonus track, ‘Cathy Eldred’ by Urkelle, as a free download here.
The release is a 12” by Urkelle entitled ‘When Her Language Goes On Holiday’, and is set to be released in one week exactly, on monday the 25th of june. Besides deep broken bass music it features a hardcore black and white op art design designed and silk screen printed by me personally by hand. Pre-order it via our distributor Triple Vision, or send me a message here via Tumblr.
The following excerpt comes from the promotional text that accompanies this release.
'Intelligent, deep bass music that fits just as well on the dancefloor as on your headphone. This EP resonates with an intruiging tension between repetition and progression. The release will appeal to the fans of the subtle progressions of Theo Parrish, as well as those of the broken bass music by Objekt or the hypnotic atmospheres of classic Autechre releases. ‘When Her Language Goes On Holiday’ takes you on a sonic journey.'
Enjoy!
