The “Ghost Rider” was created by Albert Szukalski in 1984 and is on display at the Goldwell Open Air Museum in the abandoned mining town of Rhyolite, Nevada.
Rhyolite was such a wonderful place to photograph, but the weather had its own ideas. I truly wanted to stay the entire night, but after 3 hours in the 35F weather and 40+mph winds my body said it could take no more.
I miss this place already. I shall return someday…
